"It depends on whether they were approachable or not. I would prioritize safety first, and where possible, I would try to get them to change course. If they refused, I would likely resort to reporting the behavior."

"If I witnessed a coworker doing something unethical, I would give them an opportunity to explain the circumstance first. I am never one to assume, and sometimes appearances can be deceiving. If the situation truly was unethical behavior, I would try to determine if this was the first time they exhibited misguided decision-making or if it was habitual and unchecked. If it was the first time, I would encourage them to rethink their course of action. Regardless, I would report the behavior through the appropriate channels."

PNC places a great deal of emphasis on the ethical conduct of their company and employees. Therefore, they'll want to take extra measures to ensure anyone they bring on board will adhere to their code of conduct. PNC strongly encourages their employees to report unethical behavior to a supervisor, their Employee Relations Information Center, their Corporate Ethics Office, or, if they choose to remain anonymous, to their PNC Business Conduct and Ethics Hotline. Consider this when formulating your answer.

Here are a few statements on ethics ONC has published online; "In today's competitive environment, it is vital to have a clear vision and strong principles to guide our actions. Our Values convey our strengths and create a solid foundation for ethical business behavior, continued growth, and a best-in-class work environment. Our Values reflect PNC's culture and serve to direct our day-to-day actions with customers and colleagues. Similarly, PNC's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and related policies provide important guidance in conducting our daily affairs. They apply to all employees and directors of PNC. As a team, we have worked very hard to build a successful and well-respected company. We simply cannot -- and will not -- tolerate unethical or inappropriate behavior. Now more than ever, building a great company requires an unwavering commitment to the highest ethical standards."

When answering this question, answer as sincerely as possible and be hyper-vigilant of how the algorithm may interpret your verbal and nonverbal cues. You'll want balanced lighting and a relatively quiet room with little to no background noise. Also, make sure that your camera is at eye level with your gaze. Having it positioned too low may convey you prefer to come across as domineering. Positioning it too high could convey you are more submissive, making you look small and meek. Do your best to maintain eye contact with the camera and pretend you are speaking face-to-face with the person who will review the recorded interview later.

I always talk to the person first, even if that means dealing with their frustrations. I will also give them an opportunity to change their course or make adjustments even if that means speaking with management. If they choose not to then I will take the steps to make sure that the appropriate parties are aware.

Jaymie's Feedback
Excellent! Be sure to mention that you would follow company policy if the organization has them in place for theft, misconduct, technology breaches, etc.
