"I like to read, spend time at the gym, and volunteer at our local food banks. I find local grocery stores willing to donate their out-of-date goods that they have to write off anyway and deliver those goods to the food banks in our area. My parents had an old cargo van that I use for this purpose, and I have a couple of friends who help me out. It's super important to me that I give back to the community."

Anytime an icebreaker question is posed, interviewers want to get to know the real you by getting you out of interview mode. The HireVue algorithm may contrast your less performative answers, like questions such as this, when you are being more sincere and letting your personality shine, versus the more difficult questions you are trying to answer correctly. Therefore, you'll want to take extra measures, such as practicing your answers, to ensure your performance is consistent across the board.

In my spare time, I play tennis, read books, put together Legos, and learn about sustainability. Because I think sustainability is indispensable for future development.

Krista's Feedback
This is a good start. I suggest expanding on why you think sustainability is indispensable in the future and tying it in with the job you are applying to.

I have always been a lover of music all my life and in recent months I have found joy in learning how to make beats. I also like to work out and play basketball. I’m also a lover of nature so walks or bike rides with my wife and camping trips with my friends and family are fun. Then I have my time enjoying my favorite TV shows and movies but I could talk about those for hours. All in all, I try to balance out my time with different things I find joy in.

Jaymie's Feedback
These are all great hobbies and interests to share that will be a good conversation starter!
