"I like to read, spend time at the gym, and volunteer at our local food banks. I find local grocery stores willing to donate their out-of-date goods that they have to write off anyway and deliver those goods to the food banks in our area. My parents had an old cargo van that I use for this purpose, and I have a couple of friends who help me out. It's super important to me that I give back to the community."

For example, do your interests involve a wellness regimen that will contribute to your work-life balance, or do you share similar interests with PNC in volunteerism? Ultimately, this is a personality check to see how well you will fit into their culture and environment.
Anytime an icebreaker question is posed, interviewers want to get to know the real you by getting you out of interview mode. I have always been a lover of music all my life and in recent months I have found joy in learning how to make beats. I also like to work out and play basketball. I’m also a lover of nature so walks or bike rides with my wife and camping trips with my friends and family are fun. Then I have my time enjoying my favorite TV shows and movies but I could talk about those for hours. All in all, I try to balance out my time with different things I find joy in.
