"I would say that I am an inspirational leader. I am adept at identifying a person's strengths and playing to them. I show everyone on my team how much I believe in them and foster a growth atmosphere where they can feel free to contribute and be themselves."
"I am a transformational leader who isn't afraid to delegate or work hard, side by side with the rest of my team. I believe in earning the respect of my team through transparency. As I always say, if you want your team to go to bat for you, you have to make them part of your inner circle. Tell them the goals we are shooting for, how we plan to get there, and the stakes involved. If you give them ownership on their part, they will execute it with pride."
Think about your role models and what leadership looks like to you. Perform your research on PNC and identify the qualities they look for in their leadership. When sharing what success means to you, remain objective and confident, keeping your face and posture relaxed and your body language open and at ease. Be mindful of the nonverbal cues of nervous or stressful behavior, such as biting your nails, cracking your knuckles, crossing your arms, and cradling your neck with one or both hands, among others.

A leader isn’t the boss of everyone. A leader takes charge and in a sense even sacrifices their energy for the means of making everyone not just themselves excel in their role. Whether it’s in the workplace or on the basketball court I continue to have a voice that propels others to success including myself.
