Having her as an example of what great leadership looked like, I witnessed how she handled difficult conversations and provided support and guidance to the people that she managed. She was a great sounding board and I felt comfortable asking her questions that related to employees, training, and managing expenses.
When I first joined the team, we had several open positions because there was a hiring freeze. Over time we added staff and provided them the tools and skills to be successful. It was very rewarding for me to work with a team that strived to do their best every day.
