"I think they'd say I was a lot of fun to be around when you could capture my attention. When I'm working, I'm in the zone and my external environment vanishes. It's not uncommon that I realize someone has been standing there asking me a question, and I was just so focused I didn't see them standing there. When I'm not at my desk, or in the break room at lunch, I can be the life of the party. But when I'm working, nothing can distract me."

Focus on the positives. Don't reveal anything that would paint you in a negative light. If there were reasons which might sound defamatory towards yourself or others, try to keep those details to yourself. Focus your answer on the impact you had on your fellow teammates. A great attitude can go far here as well. Share your ambition, or any prevalent habits you exhibit that aided your professional development, and those merits which you feel would transfer well to this position at AMEX.

Interviewing is often stressful. Yet sending off any stress signals could betray your narrative. So answer with confidence and be mindful of your nonverbal cues, and try not to reveal any nervous or stressful signals, such as fidgeting, which could include any small movements of your hands or feet, swaying, shifting your weight, rocking or tilting back in your chair, leaning to one side or the other, straightening and freezing your posture, cradling your neck with one or both hands, crossing your arms, cracking your knuckles or biting your nails.

My most recent manager would describe me as reliable, honest, and dedicated with an excellent work ethic. They know that I am always willing to help in any way that I can. I am keen on forming positive relationships with my managers. I believe in mutual respect and accountability. I never expect anything from co-workers that I am not willing to do myself. I take a lot of pride in my work, and I think my co-workers would agree.
Marcie's Feedback
Great! Have you ever received positive feedback via a review that you can also mention? It might carry more weight. Otherwise, you mention lots of positive qualities that will impress any interviewer. Nice job!
