The assessment vendor will use this question to again assess your interest level in this job over any job, and whether you sincerely hold a genuine interest in mutual growth. Do you want to expand your career with them as opposed to finding any job anywhere? To determine this, they'll evaluate how comfortably and capably you can align your long-term career goals with what this position has to offer. This will inform them of the level of your ambition and if you have a direction where you are hoping to take your career.

Every employer aspires to invest their resources in career-minded professionals who take charge of their own development, and who are interested in mutual growth towards like-minded opportunities. One way to gauge your interest is to measure your career goals and how they align with what the company offers. If you haven't already, write out your core values and mission statement. Draft a five-year career plan. Make sure you have a clear understanding of how their position aligns with your career plan.
