"I'm not just looking for any job. The culture of a brand is important to me. Wherever I end up working, I want everyone, and myself, to be happy that I'm there, and that takes ensuring it's a good fit. It's why we're both here, having this interview right now. In all honesty, American Express' work environment fit the bill. I spent some time looking over the website, at the company's core values, and their mission statements, and it all resonated with me. Integrity and respect are also my core values. I am very goal-oriented, and it's my goal to work at a company that would value these traits in me. I wouldn't be here if I didn't feel like it was a good fit."

You want to come across as genuine and natural as possible while maintaining eye contact with the camera. The aim is to not look at yourself on the screen to study how well you are performing. So turn on your computer's camera and practice enough times without looking at yourself until you get to the point where you feel you can answer such questions as naturally as possible. Try to incorporate the language of their keywords and branding as naturally as possible into your answers.

My ideal work environment is one where the company's core values, and mission statements, not only resonate with me but are evident in its employees. A company that fosters both professional and personal growth.
Marcie's Feedback
Nice! Does this company's core values/mission resonate with you? If so, discuss this to remind the interviewer why you're so interested in working for their company. Also, talk more about why you'd like to work for a company that values professional and personal growth. Why is this important to you? What else is important to you? Colleagues who think outside the box? A laidback/formal atmosphere? A fun and social environment?
