Example Answer

"I feel more comfortable in a diverse work environment. In my current position, I worked in a very diverse neighborhood. Everyone is from different walks of life, all under one roof. It's one of the most dynamic and innovative teams I've ever worked with. Everything is outside-of-the-box. They're a pretty great team. I plan to still swing by and take the time to say hello whenever I'm in the area."

What You Need to Know

The assessment vendor will evaluate your vocal inflections and nonverbal cues to assess your comfort level regarding being immersed in a culturally inclusive and diverse environment. Keep your body language open and maintain a relaxed and comfortable demeanor while making friendly eye contact with the camera. They'll look for indicators such as stammering, struggling to find the right words, folding arms, leaning back in your chair, or giving off any other defensive posturing. A person who has experience working with people from all walks of life should have no difficulty being immersed in a culturally rich environment, and will probably have no trouble navigating this question. Remain politically correct and culturally sensitive. Speak sincerely about your open-mindedness and being a universally inclusive person.
