The assessment vendor is asking you to make a case for your professional worth. Consider that when you deliver a strong interview, showcasing how thoroughly prepared you are, and positioning yourself as a top performer, you have been showcasing your professional worth throughout the interview. It is not recommended to start negotiations in an on-demand interview, so this is something of a test as to how nimbly you can navigate this delicate question.
Boeing advertises some of their salary ranges, along with some of the benefits they offer, depending on the region. "We offer a wide range of benefits, including market-leading health and retirement plans, generous tuition assistance, paid time off, and programs that support you and your family as well as your community. We're proud to offer base pay, incentive pay, recognition, executive compensation, financial and well being, saving for retirement, free financial planning checkups, tuition assistance, student debt, solutions, tax-advantaged accounts, and income protection." There is a lot of information worth reading up on with this topic, from meritocratic base pay to incentives and cash rewards.

Your nonverbal cues will almost always be interpreted as your true feelings. So, when speaking to your professional worth, you want to exude the body language of a confident and relaxed person. If you don't believe you are worth what you say you are, no one else will. Research the body language of a confident and relaxed person in a seated position. Pump yourself up with physical exercise to manifest confidence. Go into a private space with a mirror, look yourself in the eye, and give yourself a pep talk. Raise your arms, stretch your back, and make yourself as big as possible. Then practice your answers in front of the camera and record your voice to cast away any insecurity, nervousness, or self-doubt. Share what you have to offer and why you believe it. Keep your body language open and unguarded, arms resting on the armrests of your chairs, and hands open and relaxed. Lean forward, make eye contact with your camera, and keep your shoulders lowered and relaxed. Show them that you know how you stand out from the other candidates.
"My current annual salary is 68,000, with two bonus opportunities tied to company profits. Given my consistent performance, I've been promised by my current employer to expect to receive two 5% raises this year, should I stay on board. Your benefits package is quite attractive, and all components except the retirement plan align with my current benefits, where my current employer matches 50% of my contributions continually throughout my employment. I'm hoping for a compensation package proportionate to the role, with outlined growth opportunities. I'm hopeful to discuss more specifics in greater detail in person."
Refrain from delving into salary negotiations during a recorded assessment video, providing any specific figure, or even a pay range. Instead, emphasize your professional worth through quantifiable achievements and contributions you've detailed throughout your interview, and on your resume and cover letter. If you are comfortable doing so, disclose your current salary, your projected earnings and increases, and the frequency of the pay increases you expect to receive in your current position. If your current employer attempted to retain you through incentives, mention this as a testament to your professional worth. Consider any other factors that affect your cost of living and determine if they are worth mentioning. Finally, conclude by expressing your career aspirations for the next one to two years, reiterating your value proposition to Boeing, and share your hope to continue this discussion in person.
