"With a century of innovation under our belt, Boeing is committed to inspiring and preparing the next generation of innovators. Teammates can take advantage of online programs to complete college transferable general education courses as well as earn their high school diplomas. Academic and financial coaching is also available. Our teammates can take classes to grow in their current role or in an entirely different field to support their development. Tuition and eligible expenses are paid toward a variety of professional certifications, individual courses, certificate programs, and degree programs, typically paid directly to the school, removing the financial burden. In addition to 300 Boeing partner schools, teammates have access to the Bright Horizons EdAssist Education Network, which includes hundreds of schools that offer discounts and waived fees. Generous funding for eligible expenses is available at all levels. We'll even cover part of the cost toward obtaining a pilot's license."
When your words don't match your gestures, it's your gestures that will be seen as the truth. So you'll want to be mindful of how your verbal and nonverbal cues are aligned. For example, when answering questions surrounding education, you want to come across as learned, driven, inquisitive, thoughtful, relaxed, and confident. So practice relaxing your brow and widen your eyes. Tilt your head slightly and nod slowly. Speak softly and with ease. Maintain eye contact and confident body language, be comfortable, and speak from the heart.
"As you've seen on my resume, I graduated at the top of my class and earned my advanced degree in engineering. I took away quite a lot from that experience, and I can honestly say I learned just as much from the clubs, programs, mentorships, and activities I engaged in as I did from my coursework. But I don't think my education ended there. I am still in touch with my professors who served as mentors for me, and I still attend lectures and seminars, am constantly reading, whether it's periodicals or books, and am very interested in furthering my education where I can fit it into my schedule. I was very attracted to the academic opportunities Boeing offers to their employees as well. But I would say that my educational journey is hopefully never-ending."
