In any interview, you can expect a few similarly phrased questions to come your way. This tests your attention to detail, the originality and sincerity of your answers, and your experience level based on how well you answer each question. You'll likely be asked about your career goals, why they should hire you, and why you want to work for them. Each question is unique. With this question, they are curious about what particularly sold you on the idea that this would be a great place to work. Was it their values, their culture, ESG goals, DEI efforts, or something else? Determine why you feel working for Boeing is the perfect fit for you while trying not to repeat the same answer to various questions. Lastly, by informing them which of their recruitment efforts had the greatest effect on you, you'll be helping them with their goal of more successfully attracting their target talent.

We're building the future."
On their website, Boeing offers the advice that you "take your time. During your interview, don't talk too quickly. Be complete, but don't go overboard. When answering questions, make sure to be thorough in your responses, while being concise in your wording." This is good advice, especially since HireVue will allow you up to three minutes to record each answer. You'll only be given roughly 20-30 seconds between when the question appears on your screen and when the assessment model starts recording your response. Some questions may take longer to answer than others, but only take as much time as you need. Don't try to run out the clock or allow it to cut you off. Be as succinct as possible. There are no retakes and you will only be allowed this one opportunity to record your answers.
So when communicating your thoughts, maintain a moderate pace and tone to exude a relaxed and confident demeanor. Speaking too quickly can project an impression of nervousness. Additionally, select your words thoughtfully. Take time to explore terms that resonate with you and align with your natural vocabulary.

"There are many reasons why working for Boeing is at the top of my list. Setting aside their culture and values and all of that, I am most drawn to the brand of innovators the company attracts. I am determined to rise to being the best of the best, and in order for me to reach those goals, I want to work with the best of the best. I am also very interested in the smart factory and human robotics divisions of the company. Lastly, I have friends who work for the company, and am already familiar with the culture here. And nothing feels like a better fit to me."
