There's a lot of ways to be recognized for accomplishments, personally, I like being acknowledged more than anything. I feel like we need to have one common way of recognizing team members, but in our own time, we should validate that recognition by acknowledging it the way a team member feels most rewarded. One aspect that is not talked about too much is low attrition, and I wear this badge proudly - recognizing something like this is a holistic way of seeing things as a team - they stay for a reason and if this is recognized, I feel most proud when this is recognized.

So it sounds like you prefer to receive an acknowledgment (in other words, verbal praise? Perhaps clarify this?) when you've accomplished something at work, which is great. If your manager is aware of this, then they can make sure to reward you in a way that is meaningful to you. It's also positive that you discuss how your entire team might be recognized for achievements. The interviewer will appreciate that you're thinking about your team as well.

I like being recognized for my accomplishments through verbal praise and words of encouragement.
Marcie's Feedback
Great! The interviewer will appreciate knowing this about you. To build out your answer a bit more, consider talking about why this type of encouragement is helpful to you. If you can, give an example of a time in the past when someone encouraged you in this way and explain how it kept you motivated.

I like to be recognized in team huddles. It pumps me up.

Nice! Can you give more details and possibly talk about a time when this has happened in the past? An example will strengthen your response and make it more memorable to the interviewer.
