In their recruitment efforts, IKEA advertises that they invest in their employees and details generous benefits packages, some of which include a meal plan at their restaurant, as well as a competitive coworker discount. They want to entice their ideal candidates to their doors. "I'm most motivated by a culture that feels positive, encouraging, engaging, and peaceful -- even when the work is stressful, it's important to me to work on a team of people who see challenges as opportunities instead of hassles. I'm motivated at work when I'm told I'm doing a good job. It's nice to be rewarded financially with bonuses but It's not what drives me to work hard. Recognition for hard work is a great motivator!

I feel motivated when I am treated with respect while being trained and coached. I would also appreciate being given honest feedback and more responsibility when I am ready for it to get me ready for my next role.
Marcie's Feedback
Great. These are all excellent ways that the company can motivate you. You might also mention verbal or written praise and recognition, in addition to financial incentives, if either of these also motivates you. Good job!
