Through the program, the company matches employee donations dollar for dollar. One such program that has taken off is their Operation Smile campaign, which provides surgical and medical care for children with cleft and other conditions in low-income countries. Since giving back is such an important way of life there, your interviewer is hoping to hear that you do your part in giving back to individuals or communities through your work.

In many instances, I have rallied for patients that did not have the means to afford their elective surgeries. I worked with my company to have the product donated and then collaborated with the surgeon to have his physician fee waived to provide access to our therapy for less fortunate patients. I have also spent hours representing our company at local CRPS meet up groups and help sponsor those meeting for patients that share the same afflictions that our therapy helps treat.

I have volunteered my time to both the ALS Foundation as an Event Photographer as well as to the American Cancer Society as a driver for patients without the means to get them to and from their healthcare visits. This is a deeply satisfying contribution for me as I have had loved ones affected by both diseases.

Yes, I helped organize a Christmas mission for the homeless.
We filled throw blankets up with hygiene products, some for men some women plus food gift cards, and we rolled the blankets with ribbons and passed them out to the homeless. I would love to be able to be involved in such a great cause that reaches so many people that is truly amazing.

I work with a small company, and I am 1 of 3 reps in the Southeast, so there is not a lot of organized charity within our company. However, giving back is something my Fiance and I prioritize. We are both actively involved in the United Way- an organization that seeks to improve health, education, and financial stability for every person in the community.

Yes- at my last employment, we would do a giving tree at Christmas time where we would sponsor a child and give them gifts for a local orphanage. I'm for giving back. I also volunteer as a foster for a local dog rescue and have fostered over ten dogs.

When I was working with my previous company, I was part of a specific team. We were creating so many campaigns for our company, and we were selling food to our employees to raise funds to educate young girls in Turkey who had no any parental income. My greatest memories with this company come from organizing and implementing this fundraiser.

I collaborated in a partnership between my company and Mensajeros de la Paz to support families with low incomes in Madrid and fundraised 13.000 â‚ from employees to donate to the organization. I felt proud and grateful to share and help others by visiting colleagues and explaining the project to them in order to get funds to donate.

At my previous jobs, I have always donated to many causes that are important to me such as participating in Susan G Komen breast cancer walks, March of Dimes (my daughter was a 32-week preemie), and back to school supply drives for the local Boys and Girls Clubs.
