"The prospect of coming to work for a company like Stryker with an international presence in the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, Asia, and Europe is very exciting to me! As you can see from my resume, I've been working for an international company for the last six years and it has been an amazing experience working and collaborating with professionals from all over the world. The power of many different thought processes, mindsets, knowledge bases, and backgrounds coming together to do better things is what helps a business reach its full potential and I was so glad to read about the commitments that Stryker has made to these efforts. Your Operation Smile program takes this viewpoint the extra mile and is something I'd love to help with in the future."

As a curious person, I have always been interested in traveling and working within a diverse organization. As per my previous experience in a Pharma company what I love the most is to have the chance to learn from colleagues with different perspectives and opinions, with different cultural backgrounds. With the ideal of belonging to a bigger family making a significant impact on others' lives, inclusion is key to me to keep on learning from others.

I think that at the end of the day we are all human beings that crave the same things from life, to love and be loved, supported, and feel as part of a community. I feel that diversity is very important, we all have different backgrounds, experiences, and expectations from others. Diversity allows for creativity and innovation to take place within a team. I think inclusion is important because it is the cohesive glue that keeps the team from breaking apart. A team has a better chance of being successful being diverse and having everyone on the team practice inclusion, while being genuine.

These are important because it allows everyone from different backgrounds and cultures to have a voice and share their unique perspectives. We live in a society where everyone is commingling - whether, at a sporting event or the supermarket, our country is a melting pot.
