"I was working as a bank teller when a woman came in, upset about her account. I could tell she needed to vent and I wasn't quite sure what the actual problem was, so I listened first. Then I asked questions to figure out what was going on. She was so appreciative of me because I was able to think on my feet and troubleshoot to solve the problem quickly. She even apologized for raising her voice and thanked me for my patience."

I was working as a Personal Banker, and typically in _____ Personal Bankers do not handle any form of deposits, noncash, or cash. So on this particular day, it turned out to be very busy and the queues at the teller counters were going out of the door. At my desk, there was not a lot of activity so I decided to help with check deposits. Turns out the majority of the customers in the queue just wanted to make cheque deposits but cash customers were holding up the queues. In no time the banking hall was less crowded and the customers and the tellers were very appreciative of my initiative.
