Question 16 of 25

How do you intentionally build and maintain relationships with colleagues and vendors?

"In order to build relationships at work, I ask people questions about themselves and their family. I make mental notes of what colleagues tell me and I try to make it a point to follow up and ask about those same things again. I listen closely to people and remain authentic. I try to start each and every conversation by connecting on a personal level, rather than asking for something or getting right to the point. This intentional connection demonstrates that I genuinely care about people and that leads to strong working relationships."
