      How to Answer

The interviewer is curious as to how your role as a school counselor aligns with the overall goals and values of the school. They want to see how your work contributes to creating a positive and supportive environment for students and how you help to promote the school's mission of educating and preparing young people for success in the future. While that mission could be said for every school, the interviewer wants to see that you have done your research and specifically know the mission of the school you are interviewing for.
