The Skills needed to succeed in a call center job will be effective communication skills, resolution skills, and good customer relationship management. One's ability to listen effectively and offer the right advice in line with policy will go a long way in making a difference. Having empathy, and putting oneself in the customer's position will help you understand what they are going through and it will spur you to go the extra mile to put smiles on their faces.
