What impact does the word quality have on the work that you provide in the healthcare setting?

"Working directly with patients in a hospital setting, my highest priority in my work is provide them with on-time and accurate service and that is what quality means to me. If I'm not 100% focused on the patient I am working with at any given time, the quality of service that I am providing to them has a significant chance of declining and I can't put my patient that I work with at risk like that."

      2nd Answer Example

"With my current employer, I was sent to Six Sigma in Healthcare training and it really helped open my eyes to how analyzing and measuring current processes can effect patient care in a clinical setting. It is often very easy to get caught up in day to day activities and let overall processes in our work just continue, even though those processes may be wasting time, money and patients. Since the training, I've helped be part of teams that have improved patient wait times and improved medication passing on our units."
