"Not long ago, I had a disagreement with a coworker on their interpretation of a store policy. Their interpretation was clearly slated in their favor, and I disagreed. For me, it was an issue of ethics. So, our discussion, although calm, came to the point where they said I didn't get to decide for them how to interpret the policy. And I replied that they didn't get to decide whether I reported them violating that policy, if it indeed turned out to be a violation. At that point, they reversed course. But I still informed our supervisors that they should keep an eye out, in case they tried it again when they were working with another coworker."
