"I consider myself a happy-go-lucky person. So it is hard for things to get me down. As I see it, my greatest strength is my attitude, and it is totally up to me to decide what affects me and what doesn't. If someone else is having a bad day, their behavior has little to do with me, so I don't internalize it. But when things do affect me, I just lean on a friend at home or work. There's nothing a little sympathy and a good hug can't fix."

"Anytime I feel low, I think of my mom and what she would say that would cheer me up. She could always turn my mood around in an instant. That, or I'd hum my favorite tune, which always makes me smile and turns my day around."

Your interviewer is looking for insights into how your attitude shapes your view of the world. How you answer this question could inform them how well your personality fits in with the culture they've built and continue to foster. As they say on their website, "We work hard, play hard. Celebrating is something we're known for. We love celebrating together in the good times and supporting each other during difficult times." Consider this quote and how you would support your 'cohorts' when they need someone to lean on.

I focus on the good things I have in my life. I have my health. I have a husband who loves me. I have awesome grown children and wonderful grandchildren. I have a roof over my head. I have food to eat, I remind myself that I have gotten through difficult situations before and this too shall pass.
