As people have become more aware of their health and are eating right, they are demanding more information from the companies that produce their favorite foods and beverages. People are more interested in where food products are coming from and if ingredients are organic, farm-raised, or non-GMO. In fact, a few years ago, Anheuser-Busch put the nutritional information of their beers on their 'Tap Into Your Beer' website.

"I believe that nutritional facts are great for those who want to see them; however, not everyone wants to think about their calorie intake when they are out having a good time. I know that you have added nutritional information on one of your websites but I think a happy medium would be for Anheuser-Busch to have a phone app where a consumer could easily scan a bar-code on a bottle to find the nutritional facts. This way, it isn't in your face but it is available to those who want to know."

"I know that I always like to know the nutritional information on everything that I buy so I would appreciate having it on the bottle. However, many of my friends would not like that and I think that my opinion may be in the minority. I am fine with looking up the information online."

Share your opinion on nutrition labeling. Keep in mind that it's best to avoid any statements that may provoke a defensive reply. For instance, if you are unsure of the stance that Anheuser-Busch takes on nutritional labels, stay away from delivering a firm stance on the matter. Diplomacy is key!

As people become more concerned about their health and eating right, many consumers are demanding that companies disclose more health information about their products. But not all consumers have a positive attitude toward nutrition. Therefore, we can design QR codes on the package and scan and obtain nutrition-related content by using mobile phone applications and other methods.

Cindy's Feedback
Good! A middle path is a good approach to this tricky question. You may want to spend time discussing the implications of your solution. Is it responsible to "hide" the nutritional information? Is this accessible enough? Why or why not?

I feel nutritional facts on beer are important, but not everyone is looking at a beer for its nutrition. I feel that this could go both ways, and I for one am not one to read into the nutritional facts when enjoying a beer, but having a website or an app that is readily available could be a viable option as well.

Amanda's Feedback
This is a well-balanced response. You can improve it further by explaining that reading nutritional information on a beer might be important to others who have unique allergies, nutritional needs, or dietary concerns.
