It's important to be adaptable in the workplace. Anheuser-Busch is proud of the changes they have made like expanding to over 100 brands and having more sustainable practices. Anheuser-Busch values individuals on their team who can handle change in order to keep up with their customers and their latest innovations.
In addition, change can teach us to be more flexible and show us that we are more adaptable than we realized! It's important to demonstrate to your interviewer that you've stretched yourself and broadened your skills and abilities.

"I used to work 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day when I was working in sales, but when we started calling customers on the west coast, my schedule changed to 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. It was a little bit difficult for the first week because I had to change my workout schedule and couldn't always meet up with friends for happy hour. I focused on the positive, remembering my sales goals and recognizing that I could reach even more customers in this new territory. After 6 months, my sales increased by 25%. Those new commission funds are going to pay for my trip to Europe this summer so it was more than worth it!"

"Change is needed in order to improve your department and the product. I remember when they changed the software we used in the recruiting department. There was a lot of pushback at first as people were comfortable with how things had been and didn't want the change. I was open to it because management promised that it would help streamline our processes. They were right, and I learned that even though change can be scary, it can also be extremely beneficial."

Think of a time there was a change in management, policy, responsibilities, or your schedule. You might have even needed to change course on a project due to circumstances outside of your control. Focus on how you responded to the change rather than the change itself. Emphasize your ability to effectively manage change, problem-solve, and work with a team to put an adjusted plan into motion.

In my current role, we have just rolled out a new op model which has opened more opportunities and support roles on the weekend shift I work, something we had not seen since I joined last year. This allows our team to get more opportunities to partner with training OMs, continuous improvement managers, and seniors on projects to help effectively carry out our business. Having more support where it was not available has allowed our shift to become more productive and deep dive into problems using ROC problem-solving.

Amanda's Feedback
You've done well by answering this question positively and expressing that the new OP model has broadened your opportunity to collaborate with others, improved productivity, and given you greater problem-solving tools. This shows the interviewer that you embrace change rather than fight against it and that you can be counted on to set a positive example for others to follow when change occurs.
