Anheuser-Busch seeks to hire team members who act like owners, meaning that they take results (whether positive or negative) personally. Owners are individuals who will see projects through from start to finish and won't accept mediocre results. This means that you take responsibility for any hiccups along the way without placing the blame on others.

Reflect on times in your professional or academic career where you've acted as a leader and completely thrown yourself into a project. Use a strong example of a professional experience to outline the process you took to make a project your own. Highlight the quantifiable results of your actions, if possible, and demonstrate that you are a trustworthy project lead whose work has an impact.

"In my previous position, I took over as the client lead for one of our most profitable but demanding clients. While there were various people on my team contributing to projects for this client, I adopted the mindset that any failure to reach full potential ultimately landed on me, as I was the group leader. This helped me to maintain diligence and an eye for detail when working on client tasks. Client profitability increased by 22% in that first quarter as client lead."

"A few years ago, I created my first app. I strongly believed in its mission and the good that it could do within its niche, and I spent hours each day perfecting the code and working out bugs. A month ago, it reached 50,000 downloads, which is something that I would have never thought possible at the time. To this day, it gives me great pride to reflect on all of the hard work and planning I put into developing it and the impact it's had in its field. As I was the only individual working on the app, I had to take full ownership of every decision made, which required careful planning and thoughtful decision-making."

Safety is the number one priority and it does not go unnoticed within my current role. Previously we held monthly safety circles as a shift which brought the whole team together once a month to discuss trends and spark conversation. It was evident that it was not value added and engagement was not there. I took it upon myself to establish weekly safety circles that were department specific. I pulled weekly trends and set up meeting times with each department, and it instantly increased engagement and gave me the opportunity to fix things real time as they happen.
