On the hardest days, I tend to set some small goals to motivate myself. And I reward myself when I accomplish a goal, such as a nice dinner. After that, I'll be more motivated to keep doing it. When I achieve a big goal, I will give myself a small vacation if I can to relax. Life is not all roses. Only when we give ourselves hope and purpose in the difficult times can we overcome the difficulties and move on.

Cindy's Feedback
Good! So as long as you are feeling accomplished, you are motivated? What happens when you can't reach even the smallest goals? Do you have a way to keep yourself on task?

Team member safety and fulfilling store orders are the top priority when it comes to daily job functions. At the end of the day there is always a goal to meet and work to be done, so ensuring myself and the team stays on task is vital. Leaning on KPIs like safety and productivity is important to meet the end goal, and keep me going when things are difficult. Relying on relationships with peers and team members can improve any day, so listening and being open while having fun at work can cheer up any tough day.
