Before you begin to toot your own horn, take a look at the job description. You will find a list of qualities and responsibilities that the interviewer expects you to be able to meet. The good news is that you have those! Otherwise, they wouldn't have called you.

Remember, everyone they are interviewing is a person they feel meets the basic requirements. You want to show that you're an OUTSTANDING candidate. This means you are willing to go above and beyond what is expected of you, and that you have at least one stand-out quality. They also want to know that you are familiar with the company's culture and values and that you believe you would be a good fit.

If you are interviewing for a sales position, you want to share how you exceeded your sales goals in your current position. Be sure to give them the actual numbers and accomplishments! If you are a recent graduate interviewing for the management training program, you want to give a specific example of how your education has prepared you to take on this new challenge. You have what it takes! Share what makes you unique.
