Administrative officers, also known as administrative service managers, coordinate the administrative work of an organization in order to support its daily operations. It is a leadership position: they supervise and coordinate administrative workers and ensure that the work is done in accordance with company policies and regulations. In addition, they may manage budgets and financial reports and administer company databases, as well as manage and order office supply stock. Administrative officers work in office settings and during normal business hours. A bachelor's degree is typically preferred, with preference for work experience in the areas supported (e.g. IT, sales, finance, etc.). Additional certifications are also available.

Job openings for administrative officers can be found through typical channels such as online job boards like Indeed, Monster, and Craigslist. Vacancies can also be found on corporate career websites. The interview will focus on your ability to organize and direct the work of others.
