The interviewer asks how your coworkers would describe you because they want to gain insight into your personality and work style. Your coworkers' perceptions of you can provide valuable information about your communication skills, work ethic, and teamwork abilities. Additionally, the interviewer may be looking for consistency between your own self-assessment and how others view you. It's important to answer this question honestly and provide specific examples to support your coworkers' descriptions. Select a few positive and unique keywords that genuinely define your work ethic.

I believe my coworkers would describe me as someone who is collaborative, genuine, and flexible.

Rachelle's Feedback
This answer is a good start! When it comes to being collaborative, genuine, and flexible - how do you emulate these qualities in the workplace? (Consider 'showing AND telling' versus just 'telling'). How will these qualities benefit the organization, should they hire you?
Anonymous Answer
Supervisors have told me that I ask good questions and see the big picture, that I am caring, and build rapport well. I have been told that I lend positive energy to a team. I love working with everyone's strengths and filling in where needed and this seems to be appreciated also. I have been described as humble, a good investigator, and someone dedicated to our students' best interests.
Marcie's Feedback
You have done a good job here of highlighting relevant qualities. If you've ever received any of this feedback within a written or in-person review, you might mention this to lend further credibility to your assertions. Otherwise, great response!
