Integrity, passion, ownership, and winning are all core values of Procter and Gamble. To achieve all of these values, your interview will be looking to hire the candidate that gets motivated and excited to come to work at Procter and Gamble each and every day. They'll also be looking to hear how they'll be best able to keep you motivated if hired for the job.
"I have a healthy competitive edge, even if it's a personal competition. For me, I am excited and motivated by winning, whether that be winning over a new client, exceeding my KPIs, or being recognized for a job well done. I am also motivated and energized by a strong team that supports and challenges one another. I believe that the work culture at P&G in and of itself will be a strong motivator for me. I love the idea of being surrounded by team members all working toward mastery with strategic focus, seeking to be the very best, and working with interdependency. That sounds energizing!"
"I get excited when new challenges are presented in the workplace. This could include a new program, a new customer initiative, a sales contest, or even the training of a new employee. A fresh problem to solve or a fresh obstacle to conquer is highly motivating and exciting for me, which fits well with the Procter and Gamble team environment of challenging convention and reinventing the way you do business to better win in the marketplace."

I really like to take the lead and have control over what I do. I also like to do a variety of things and be autonomous.
Marcie's Feedback
This is a great response because it's direct and honest. Clearly, you like to work independently and to be in charge, both of which are great characteristics. Does money motivate you? Do praise and recognition motivate you? Do learning and growth opportunities motivate you? These are other motivations that you could also mention and choose to discuss as well if any are applicable to you.

I am a competitive person by nature, so healthy competition is something that always pushes me to do my best even if I am competing with myself. Exceeding my KPIs, winning over a new client, or just being recognized for a job well done. Also a good team that challenges and supports one another is something that energizes me further to push and improve upon myself.

Cindy's Feedback
Great! Being competitive and working well in a team are both valuable assets. Nice work.

I like working in dynamic and diverse teams on difficult problems that require creative solutions. I am also a loyal person who cares about my colleagues. I always seek out where I can offer a helping hand and I'm not afraid to leverage the power of the whole team to ensure we reach the best possible solution for the company.

Amanda's Feedback
It sounds like you're a team player that likes working collaboratively to solve problems. Consider making your response more memorable and unique to you by talking about a time when you were motivated by your work situation. What was the scenario/problem? What approach did you take to resolving it? What was your role in the team and what was the positive outcome? Sharing an example is a good way to give the interviewer clearer insight into what motivates you and why.
