"In college, I volunteered with my church's youth program and went on mission trips to other countries, where I learned a lot about different cultures and customs. That helped me honor and respect diversity and gave me additional skills to work with people of all backgrounds. I understand the value and innovation that diverse teams can produce because of the various backgrounds, experiences, and skill sets that people have."

I love working with different persons, cultures, and environments. I studied a lot of Anthropology which studies the cultures and traveled a lot. I love to learn about diverse groups and try to immerse myself in new cultures. I actually did some volunteering in Guatemala and lived there for almost a year, where I learned Spanish and totally experienced a new culture. I also have friends from all around the world and would say that I am pretty open-minded.

Nice! You sound like you're very comfortable interacting with many different kinds of people, which is great. It's also wonderful that you volunteered and lived in a different country for some time. The question does ask specifically about working with a diverse group of people; if you have any work experiences that you could mention that show you have successfully worked with people who are culturally different than you, definitely discuss this as well.

I am accustomed to being surrounded by people different from me and I am always happy to be connected to new people since my mindset is that the more you're surrounded by people of all thoughts I myself can learn new things and receive new hindsight on things I knew or thought I knew.
