This question is aimed at classifying your level of emotional intelligence. Someone who responds quickly to failures and setbacks and views them as learning opportunities is someone who is emotionally intelligent. Whereas someone who suffers a failure or setback and has trouble navigating their disappointment and allows their emotions to impede their productivity and response times, has room to grow in this regard. So when formulating your answer, consider how you would align your experience in overcoming your failures and setback with Nike's philosophy, which states, "Our future, the next chapter of Nike's story... We are the ones who will write it. Where we go from here, that's up to us."
HireVue's assessment model will use how you respond to each question as a means of classifying your skill level and compatibility with Nike. According to the website, "Over the years, Nike has earned the trust of billions of consumers who look to us for inspiration. But this is only possible if we maintain our positive standing. There's no expectation of perfection; everyone makes mistakes from time to time. But we can all strive to think and act with an eye toward preserving Nike's positive reputation in the world. It's too precious to do anything less."
In HireVue's interview builder, it breaks a candidate's experience level into five categories: novice, developing, intermediate, advanced, and expert. A novice will be more likely to suffer from task paralysis and procrastination, not reacting quickly in time-sensitive situations, being afraid of making the wrong choice, and looking to others to make those tough choices for them or someone who takes unnecessary risks, compromising the company's assets. Whereas an expert will be resourceful and decisive, taking action with a degree of informed, calculated risk.

The HireVue assessment model might misinterpret you looking at yourself on your computer screen as looking at your feet, signaling a lack of confidence. The camera angle should be at eye level. Positioning it too low will make you come across as domineering. Too high and you'll seem too weak or small. So center it, and make sure your lighting is equally balanced as well.
"Well, I remember the one and only time I missed a deadline. I felt pretty knocked down by it. But I wasted no time getting back on my feet and learning what I could from the experience. I asked for feedback and my coaches offered me valuable insights and tips to help me succeed. So I took what they offered and pushed even further. Now, when I meet a deadline rather than coming in ahead of one, that feels like a failure to me. But I keep moving forward with the aim of continually getting better."
