This question will help determine whether you specifically want to work with Nike, or if you are playing the numbers game trying to land any job anywhere. Nike's ideal candidates already embody its brand and work ethic. So, when answering this question, consistently aim to align yourself with everything Nike. Consider how you would speak about what sets Nike apart from the competition to your customers if you were hired to represent the brand.
Once you submit your application and have started the interview process, remember to relax and be patient. "We know you're excited about Nike, and we will do our best to keep you updated. Keep in mind, the interview process may take longer than you expect. Be patient, your recruiter will keep you updated throughout the entire process. You can reach out to them with any questions, but keep in mind their responses may be delayed due to their heavy workloads."
"When I graduated from college, I wanted to join a company where I already felt like I belonged. I wanted to work somewhere I would brag about where I worked. Nike was a clear choice. Not only is the company aligned with my values, but I have been a customer since I could walk. I have several pairs of Converse as well. I love the style and statements Nike's apparel makes, and I love sports as well, both individual and team sports. Nike is my top choice, and there's no place I'd rather work. So to answer your question, I haven't considered applying to any competitors. I'm not trying to find any job anywhere. I want to work here."
