Everyone handles the stress and disappointment of setbacks differently. Your interviewer is curious whether you are emotionally intelligent and take ownership of your actions, mistakes, responsibilities, and development. They're also interested in whether you take your failures in stride and learn from them or if you allow your mistakes or setbacks to undermine your confidence, trip over your own feet, and make even more mistakes as a result of being emotionally rattled. Spend some time reflecting on the mistakes you've made, the obstacles you've overcome, and how you have grown and improved. Also, identify how NetJets can further your development by examining some of the testimonials employees have made which are advertised on their website, such as "Working at NetJets has been wonderful for both my professional and personal growth. Every day I get to work with collaborative, supportive, and driven colleagues in an environment that promotes the development and entrepreneurial thinking."

"Experiencing a setback is always disappointing and can be a bit disheartening, but hey, it happens from time to time. If I experience a major setback, I will take a few moments to debrief with my manager and discuss what I could have done differently. Then, I move on!"

I like to think about what happened, list all the causes that made it happen, and then try to think of a way I could make it better. Live and learn from mistakes.
Marcie's Feedback
Excellent response! It's great that you view setbacks as learning experiences, and you clearly explain the steps you take in order to uncover valuable lessons (thinking about what happened, listing causes, thinking of solutions). To strengthen your answer, even more, consider talking a bit about the emotional impact of setbacks and how you deal with that aspect of things too.
