Your interviewer is curious how adaptable you'd be to accommodating an unpredictable and varied schedule. Considering the nature of the company's model, there are no regular flight routes. The destinations are determined on demand as needed, and routes vary. "NetJets flight attendants may fly virtually anywhere based on our Owners' travel needs." This affects the hours you'd be working and where you'd travel to and from. Therefore, their ideal candidates would be able to "adapt to changing flight schedules." As they state on their website, "Not every flight goes as planned. We need to be constantly aware of changing weather patterns, customer requests, and flight logistics." However, with seniority, "flight attendants can live in various locations around the U.S. and can also choose from several types of work schedules."
So familiarize yourself with the expectations of the role, and don't let any questions in your interview catch you off guard. Assure your interviewer that you are aware of the inconsistent schedule associated with this role. If you have relevant experience to draw on, share it.

"In my most recent position with Airline XYZ, I had an inconsistent schedule that required me to often be on call. I worked many weekends and holidays. This is part of the lifestyle. This is in my comfort zone, and I'm happy to work any hours offered."

"I am available to work a wide range of hours, plus overtime. I prefer enough notice to at least make appropriate childcare arrangements."

Not a flight attendant but a pilot. I am used to the long days, short overnights, and changing schedules. When you enjoy what you do and enjoy the pilots and owners of your flight it makes the day seem shorter and very enjoyable.

Great! It sounds like you're already used to this type of schedule and that you don't overly mind it because you love what you do. It takes a certain type of person to be able to manage this, and the interviewer will appreciate that you fit this mold.

Being extremely flexible and having the ability to manage your time properly is extremely important as a flight attendant because you have to understand your schedule can change with little notice and you are sometimes away from home for prolonged periods of time. I believe my experience working in the private aviation industry for three years has helped me adapt to this lifestyle.

Great! It sounds like you're very accustomed to this type of schedule, which will please the interviewer. Consider starting your answer by stating straightforwardly that yes, you're able to accommodate this type of schedule and then go into all the reasons why. How come this lifestyle works for you? Does visiting lots of different locations make it worthwhile? Do you have a supportive family? Giving more details will further strengthen your answer. Nice job!
