NetJets' new hire training begins with a basic indoctrination at their headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, and lasts approximately 25 days. "This consists of, but is not limited to, company policy and procedures, general emergency training, fleet-specific training, hands-on service training. After successfully completing training, flight attendants are released to begin initial operating experience training. This consists of training with a large cabin instructor." Familiarize yourself with the strict safety protocols you could expect. Once having a firm grip on their expectations, feel free to contextualize your experience in reacting professionally in any situation where safety was at risk. Describe how you maintained calm while prioritizing the needs of your passengers and crew above your own.

I would assess the situation and mitigate the risk as appropriate. I would get the pilots involved if need and discuss the situation on the best course of action.
Marcie's Feedback
Good answer! It's great that you would start by assessing the situation and that you would involve the pilots if necessary. When you mention mitigating the risk, what does this mean more specifically? How would you do this? Try to provide some concrete steps that you would take to make sure all the passengers are kept safe.
Anonymous Answer
I take the responsibility of protecting and ensuring the safety of all passengers very seriously. I am well trained to handle emergency situations and I would make sure to prioritize following protocol, communication between the crew, and ensuring passengers remain calm and are confident that they are in capable hands.
Marcie's Feedback
Excellent! The interviewer will be happy to hear that you recognize how important passenger safety is. Consider talking more about the type of training you have in this area. Also, to make your answer particularly memorable, walk the interviewer through a hypothetical safety situation and explain exactly how you would navigate it.
