"Well, I am curious to hear what kind of seniority is required before being awarded a crew base of choice. I suppose, initially, I would say I would gladly accept any crew base if it increased my likelihood of proving myself a team player and being awarded the position. Once reaching the seniority required to be awarded preference, I suppose I would have a better idea of what that would look like. For example, if there was an owner who I preferred working with, who frequented a destination I enjoyed traveling to, then I suppose I might choose that as a home base."
