You should be fully versed in the expectations of the job you are applying for and the lifestyle associated with the role you are expected to play. Prepare for your interview. If you ask clarifying questions, make sure you wouldn't easily find the answers on your own. If you have questions about whether you are willing to work the schedule required, consider whether this is the best position for you before committing to the interview. You want to come across as being respectful of their time and willing to do whatever it takes to join the American Airlines family.

"I am aware of the expectations of the role and am available for a wide range of hours and overtime. I'd prefer to be made aware of my schedule ahead of time, of course, so that I can make appropriate arrangements. But would be willing to go above and beyond to ensure I put my all in at all times."

"In my most recent position with Airline XYZ, I had an inconsistent schedule that required me to often be on call regularly. As a result, I've worked many weekends and holidays. This is part of the lifestyle of a Flight Attendant; I completely understand and am okay with it. I'm happy to work any hours that are offered to me."

I do realize starting out at a big airline I will be on reserve and I have to be able to work long hours and holidays. I am willing to work any schedule I receive, happily because Flight attendant is something I love to do and my friends and family understand that. I am very flexible with my time and happy to do so for this company.
