Do you have any formal First Aid or CPR training?

"American Airlines is in business to provide safe, dependable and friendly air transportation" to their customers," ensuring their "customers depart and arrive safely," where "safety, comfort and convenience" are their most important concerns. Therefore, First Aid and CPR training is a requirement for many of their roles. Assure the interviewer that you have a current and valid CPR and First Aid certification. If you do not, be sure to inform them you are already in the process acquire certification.

"I don't yet have a valid CPR and First Aid certification. However, I am currently enrolled in the course to obtain one, which begins the day after tomorrow. Knowing this would be an expectation, I made sure I would meet this requirement right away."

"Yes, I do have formal training in First Aid and CPR. I brought my certifications with me. I am very proactive in making sure my certification is current and have had no gaps when renewing it."
