Allstate is looking for assurances that your communication and customer service skills meet their standard. "I understand that insurance policies and contracts can appear complicated to my clients. I will walk them through each section before they sign and use simpler terms and analogies when needed. I have often had clients comment on my ability to relay the information to them in an easy-to-understand method."

Great! It sounds like you are accustomed to walking customers through long insurance contracts and making sure they understand everything. It's good that you use simplified examples and encourage questions. Nice!

Insurance documents, just as mortgage documents, can seem daunting to those who do not see that paperwork every day. I found by asking the client if everything was clear to them, or did they need more explanation was the best strategy. Sometimes people don’t know what to ask, so trying to be as thorough as possible allowed me to feel like I did my best for them.
Marcie's Feedback
Great! Did you do anything beyond asking if they had questions? Did you use simple language to explain complex terminology? Did you use metaphors or pictures? Did you mention common questions and preemptively answer them?
