This question aims to determine which working environment your personality is most likely to thrive in and if you are an extroverted interpersonal, socially interactive individual or an introverted, analytical person. A more introverted individual needs a solitary environment to recharge their battery, whereas an extroverted individual recharges in social settings. Most people, however, fall somewhere in the middle. Focus your answer on what it takes to perform at your best without focusing on how difficult it may be to maintain your focus in other environments.

Ir's rewarding helping clients with general policy questions or being empathic and helping them through difficult times. Working behind the scenes researching, fact-finding, applying policy, approvals, and denials, etc... is just as important. Currently, my day is split between working with clients, and working behind the scenes doing casework and I feel I'd thrive in either scenario.
Marcie's Feedback
In other words, you're flexible and you enjoy working both with clients and in more of a research capacity. Your adaptability and openness to work in either capacity will likely be considered an asset by the interviewer. Great answer!
Anonymous Answer
I have been successful in both roles. I tend to enjoy a mixture of both.
Marcie's Feedback
That's great! Can you talk more about the experience you have in each situation? What do you like about each kind of role? Then be sure to connect your experience and likes to the current role so the interviewer can see why you're an ideal fit for it.
