Working in healthcare is a very demanding career path. What keeps you motivated on the hardest days?

"I can stay motivated, even on the tough days, because I know that my career focuses on helping people. I understand when patients or family members take out their anger or frustration on me because they have no one else to direct their anger towards. I do not take those incidents personally and know that I am doing my best in a difficult situation. I love to help others, and to know that I make a difference is all the motivation I need."
