I also include their family members so everyone is on the same page along the care journey."

What do you think might be the greatest challenges faced in this job? How will you overcome these challenges?

"One challenge is the emotional rollercoaster that can come with working with patients who have terminal illnesses and are on hospice. While building relationships and providing care for patients at the end-of-life stage can be rewarding, it can also be heartbreaking. Sometimes it's hard to leave those emotions at work and not bring them home with you, so I usually use my time driving home to reflect on the day and work through how I'm feeling and cope with the events of the day. I also have a good support system at home though, so I'm able to leverage that when I need to as well."

Even though it may seem like a dream job, the interviewer wants to know that you have realistic expectations of the role and that you will not be blindsided if problems or challenges present themselves. Keep your answer simple. It is okay to ask for clarification on the position if you do not fully understand what challenges are in store for you.

"I think any person joining a new team faces an initial challenge of getting to know their team members and leaders and then starting to build a trusting relationship with each quickly. It's important to tackle the learning aspect from a technical standpoint but also make sure you focus on building relationships with new team members as in this role, you'll be working so closely with one another in high-pressure situations. I plan to come in with a positive attitude that shows my new team that I'm excited to join their team, learn from them, and work together to achieve common goals of caring for patients in their critical time of need."

"I feel that the most important qualities that a healthcare professional can possess are endless compassion, dedication, and a thirst for knowledge. I do possess these qualities and am excited to think about my potential growth with Cleveland Clinic by applying these qualities."

"I can stay motivated, even on the tough days, because I know that my career focuses on helping people. I understand when patients or family members take out their anger or frustration on me because they have no one else to direct their anger towards. I do not take those incidents personally and know that I am doing my best in a difficult situation. I love to help others, and to know that I make a difference is all the motivation I need."

The interviewer wants to hear how you stay motivated while working in a stressful, demanding career. Healthcare professionals work under pressure daily, which can take a toll on their mental and physical health. Describe how you stay motivated in your profession without letting the job demands burn you out or make you jaded. The interviewer wants to hear that you stay motivated to continue even when you have an incredibly stressful day.

"I keep myself motivated on the hardest days. I am skilled in pushing myself, and I remind myself regularly that I am here to help others. I have a true servant-hood mentality, which drives me to do my best in every situation. In addition to this factor, I find inspiration from working with positive people who I learn from along the way. New knowledge and a fresh approach are fantastic motivators to keep moving forward in a demanding profession."

"On the hardest days, the patients keep me motivated. Having been on the other end and being a family member of a patient, I have seen both sides. So no matter how bad my day is, I will always make sure that I give my all to having great patient care."

How do you handle communicating bad news to a fellow worker or subordinate?

"I certainly do not enjoy communicating bad news to a coworker, but I have experience doing so. When this type of task is required of me, I make sure to practice empathy and compassion. I believe honesty and transparency are key, so I will be truthful and upfront when communicating bad news. For instance, when I have had to let an employee go, I am direct and tell them exactly why they are being terminated. It is best they know to learn from the experience and understand what they did wrong. I also take the time to let them be upset and ask questions, so they are clear when they leave about the reasons they lost their job."

It is tough to deliver bad news to anyone, especially your coworkers and people you care for. The interviewer wants to hear how you communicate bad news to others to understand your communication style, diplomacy, compassion, and empathy. How you deliver bad news also shows your leadership skills and how you will interact with patients when providing information that is tough to hear.

"Delivering bad news to anyone used to be something I dreaded. But I know it is inevitable in the healthcare profession. I took an excellent continuing education course that taught us how to deliver bad news and went through the different stages of grief. After taking that course, I feel more comfortable delivering bad news. Recently, I was tasked with telling a coworker that her daughter was involved in a bad accident and was in critical condition in the emergency department. I was empathetic when delivering the news and stayed with her the entire time. I believe people need support when grieving and someone to understand what they are going through. Luckily, her daughter fully recovered, and the situation ended happily."

"I would communicate bad news in person and in private. Having to do so with compassion and honesty."

When are your leadership skills the most effective?

"My leadership skills are the most effective when my relationship with the employee isn't just a surface connection. I want to have true knowledge of their life and a good understanding of their career goals. When my employees know that I can help them to achieve their goals, they are more likely to be an engaged part of the team."

When you have a great relationship with the individuals you are leading, your leadership skills will be the most effective. Show the interviewer that you recognize a great relationship starts with clear communication, trust, and honesty. Tell the interviewer that you spend time genuinely getting to know your team. For instance, perhaps you like to understand what activities they have going on both inside and outside of work, their kids' names, or if they have any pets. Building a relationship with your team will ensure that you can frequently and genuinely ask them how they are doing. The more comfortable they are, the better chance they will come to you for help in the workplace when they need it.

"I feel that my leadership skills are directly related to the happiness and engagement of my team. I spend a lot of time making sure that my team of staff are happy, confident, and invested in their jobs."

"I believe that leadership and encouragement go hand and hand. Encouraging your staff to always do their best and never hesitate to ask for help when needed. Trust and honesty are wonderful skills to have as a leader. When your staff trusts you to lead them, then you can trust them to always do their best."

What is your greatest weakness?

"I believe I could improve on some technical skills including Excel and PowerPoint. Currently I am at a beginner to intermediate level; however, I would be more comfortable at an advanced level. I have enrolled myself in an evening/weekend workshop for the next six weeks. We will see how stellar my skills are after that course!"

"This is super cliche, but it's also true. I am not good at delegating to others. When I become submerged in a project, I don't like to give away any of the control. While this can be good, it can also definitely inhibit the outcome of the project and my growth as a team player and individual. I am currently working on this, as I know it is a deficit."

"My greatest weakness would have to be delegation. I have a hard time letting go of a project if I can just get it done myself. I am continuously trying to improve this in myself. I know I need to learn to trust in my team more to help when help is needed."

Do you think it is possible to be a good team member, yet disagree with the leader?

"Yes, I think it is possible to be a great team player, even when disagreeing with the one in charge. Even though I may disagree with a decision made, I do not question my superiors as they have more experience than me and may know something I do not. I use these situations as learning experiences. I believe it is all in how you maintain respect for each other despite the difference in opinion."

Describe how you can remain a good team member while disagreeing with your leader. The interviewer understands that you may not always agree with your superiors. It is normal for teams to disagree with their leader but still respect their decision. When you display that you can still be a good team player when not agreeing with the decision made by the one in charge, it shows you have patience, flexibility, and conflict-resolution skills.

"Yes, I think it is possible to be a good team member while disagreeing with the leader, and it happens quite often. My previous supervisor was a wonderful person, but he sometimes had what my team thought were crazy ideas. None of the team agreed with his decisions, but we never questioned his motives. It turned out that my supervisor was brilliant, and his crazy ideas turned out to be wonderful ones. The team learned a lot by remaining respectful and not questioning our supervisor's actions."

"Absolutely. Not everyone thinks the same way. It is ok to agree to disagree. It is always good to have someone on your team that sees things differently than you do, it gives the department a different perspective and makes the team well-rounded."

Do you consider yourself a patient person? How do you increase your patience level in challenging situations?

"I do consider myself a patient person. I would rate myself an eight /10 for patience because I certainly have room to grow, but I do have a very long fuse. If I need a boost of patience in a challenging situation, I will take a step away, count to 10 and then return to the situation. I recently read a book, 'The Power of Patience' by M.J. Ryan which also gave me some excellent new methods for coping with stress."

The interviewer would like to know if you consider yourself a patient individual. Impatience can cause a lot of stress and anxiety in coworkers, so it is essential that you can showcase your ability to remain patient and professional in workplace situations. Patience is indeed a virtue but can be challenging to maintain when it seems that situations continue to push your buttons. Show the interviewer that you possess the ability to keep your cool in challenging conditions.

"I was once working with a group that could not quite get along, and it tested my patience a bit because it prevented us from staying on track and focusing on the goals. I went above and beyond in helping the group get along by scheduling lunches as a team and helping to mediate situations that needed it."

Are you comfortable working with a team of doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals?

"I am very comfortable working with a team of healthcare professionals and enjoy being in the support role. In my previous position in primary care, I worked alongside two physicians and two nurses. We all had our own responsibilities, but we also collaborated and supported one another to meet the needs of the patients. For example, when one provider was out sick, I would help the staff call patients and reorganize the schedule while also helping with check-in and admin tasks if we had to double up on seeing patients. This teamwork made it easier for us to get through the day and to provide excellent care to patients."

Whatever your role, at some point you may be required to work with an interdisciplinary healthcare team. The interviewer is asking this question to make sure you have the interpersonal skills and comfort level necessary to be successful in the role. Speak to your ability to collaborate, communicate, and work well amongst a team.

"Yes, as a clinical professional, I'm used to engaging and communicating with a team of physicians, specialists, nurses, technicians, and admins each day. I enjoy working as part of a larger team that is collaborating and striving to achieve the same common goal of providing quality patient care. We each play a role in the protection, wellness, and treatment of patients and I love seeing how teams come together in different ways to promote patient safety, well-being, and health. I'm a very easygoing person and I'm used to working with a diverse group of professionals from various backgrounds and experiences. I get along well with everyone and truly find joy in being part of a multi-disciplinary team."

In your current role, what does your typical day include?

"I currently work in a community pharmacy, so my day is usually very busy and I'm multitasking to complete different priorities. I typically answer the phones, enter in new prescription requests, work the pick-up window and sometimes handle the check-out process. Throughout the day, I'm also assisting customers with questions, updating patient information on the computer, follow-up with general practitioner offices to gather information and process prescriptions."

The interviewer would like to discover more about your day-to-day roles, responsibilities, structure, and pace. If you are coming from another healthcare organization, it's likely similar to what would be required in this position with the Cleveland Clinic; however, it's important to describe in detail what your activities look like. Consider whether you spend time on the phone, maintaining medical records, scheduling appointments, performing laboratory duties or tasks, or seeing patients. As a nursing assistant, I also interact with patient families, providing updates when necessary and education on certain illnesses, diagnoses, or conditions. Lastly, I help answer patient call lights, provide care and assistance with ADLs, and ensure the privacy and safety of patients at all times."

What are your salary expectations?

"Given my background, formal education, and on-the-job experience, I'm looking to earn between $80,000-$87,000. However, medical benefits and tuition reimbursement are also important to me and aspects I would take into consideration."

"In regards to salary, my expectations are based on what my level of education is and the average for nurses in Ohio, especially as a new graduate. The average salary for RNs in the state of Ohio is between 22 and 28 dollars an hour, and that seems especially fair to me."

"There are many talented people in the healthcare pool but what makes me stand out is my willingness to take feedback. I am a humble employee. Also, I am a dedicated worker. I have had just one sick day in 5 years."

"As a recent graduate, my focus in my first few years is to gain as much experience as possible and grow and develop in my role. In two to three years, I see myself comfortable in my role and environment and potentially taking on more responsibilities and completing specialty certifications. I am passionate about working with older adults, so by that time, I hope to have completed the Certified Aging in Place Specialist program."

If you aren't interested in eventually pursuing a management role, speak to how you want to grow and expand other skill sets or continue your education. "Thank you for asking! I would love to advance into medical billing and coding once I have enough experience in general health services administration. I foresee this happening in the next 2-3 years and am committing to this path by attending evening classes and a few related workshops."

What makes you a great problem solver?

"I am someone who loves to solve problems, and finding ways to help patients adapt and overcome to gain independence is something that drew me to healthcare. I work with a lot of rehab patients, so I'm often helping them overcome mobility challenges by using adaptive equipment and assistive technology. I also do home visits, and during those visits, I'm helping identify hazards and obstacles and how patients can navigate them to be safe at home. Oftentimes, it's things you and I wouldn't consider a challenge at all, but for them, a cup on a shelf they can't reach is a big deal so I'm helping them use adaptive equipment to reach things or even dress independently."

Employers want to know that you have a methodical approach to problem-solving. Consider the skills and qualities that help you successfully face problems. Perhaps you have a keen eye for detail. Maybe you can see opportunity when others can only focus on the issue. Share your strengths as a problem solver and your ability to come up with innovative solutions.

"I believe I am a great problem solver because I am sure to gather as many facts as possible, I look at the problem and its potential solutions from multiple angles, and I am not afraid to make a creative decision, that might seem off the beaten path."

How do you protect confidential patient data?

"As a pharmacy technician, I work with confidential patient information all day, so I must make every effort to keep it secure. One way is that I make sure anytime we throw away old prescription bottles or other related items with a patient name, date of birth, etc. that the label is destroyed or blacked out so that if someone went through the skip out back, they would not be able to read that information. I also make sure that anytime I walk away from my computer, it's locked and secure. Additionally, I try to keep a lower tone of voice when speaking with a patient about a condition or medication that might be personal, so others do not hear and they do not feel embarrassed."

All employees at the Cleveland Clinic must be knowledgeable about HIPAA laws and when and how to protect patient information. Demonstrate your understanding of the importance of protecting patient data in the workplace and consider ways you ensure patient information is not left in public places or stored inappropriately. Perhaps you speak in a lower voice when relaying confidential information so other patients don't overhear, or maybe you lock your computer anytime you leave your workstation. When responding, give an overview of your experience in healthcare protecting this type of data and examples of ways you ensure patient information is safe.

"As a nursing assistant, I strictly adhere to HIPAA regulations, so there are several ways that I protect confidential information. Anytime I walk away from my workstation or computer used to chart, I ensure I'm logged off so that no one without authority accesses the system. At the nurse's station, I make sure patient files, prescriptions, lab orders, and even post-it notes that I may have jotted something down that contained a date of birth or name, and test results are secured and not in plain sight to a passerby. When I deal with a patient's family and friends inquiring about patient statuses, I always check their file to see who they have consented to be given that information."

How would you rate your knowledge of medical terminology?

"I would rate my knowledge as advanced. I have worked in healthcare for over ten years, so I've built an extensive vocabulary and a thorough understanding of medical terms, acronyms, and jargon. On the rare occasion, I do not recognize a word or acronym, I'm quick to look it up on the internet, ask a colleague, or in the medical dictionary I keep in my desk drawer."

A thorough understanding of medical terminology will make you a more desirable candidate when interviewing for a position at the Cleveland Clinic. Speak about your knowledge and experience in this area and any courses or classes you may have taken. "As a newer medical transcriber, I have room to grow in this area. I would rate myself a 2, just because I've not had a lot of exposure to healthcare and I'm still learning so much. I feel I have a good foundation so far from my training and education. My mom is also a nurse, so I've had a little exposure through conversations with her as well. I'm eager to learn more and I'm sure I will catch on quickly. If I ever have questions, I will be sure to look something up or ask a colleague rather than just guess."

Working with the public can be difficult. What interpersonal skills do you possess that will allow you to succeed here?

"Through my ten years of experience in healthcare, I have found ways to overcome the challenges that can come with working with the public. When a patient or family member is angry or frustrated, I try to remember not to take it personally; that helps me react without involving my emotions. Seeking to understand the root cause of their frustration and being genuine in my interest in assisting them often makes a difference in their attitude and approach. I'm a good listener, and sometimes, that is all a person needs to be de-escalated. I'm always focused on the patient experience and go out of my way to have a positive attitude and approach situations with an open mind and patience. I can effectively communicate, whether that's by email, on the phone, or in person. I communicate messages clearly and answer questions professionally and calmly."

"While I don't have experience in healthcare, I did work in retail for a few years, and from that I have gained many interpersonal skills that I feel will transfer well. I practice empathy and compassion and am always seeking to understand things from the customer's perspective. I feel I am self-aware and possess a high level of emotional intelligence. I'm also skilled at conflict resolution, having had to work the return desk and often fielded customer complaints."

How would your co-workers describe your attention to detail?

"My coworkers have commented on my attention to detail, so I know they would describe me as extremely detail-oriented. I am the one they ask to double-check patient charts for proper spelling and grammar, and they jokingly call me 'the editor.' I am meticulous regarding proper documentation and always check medication dosages three times before administering any drug."

Attention to detail is imperative in the healthcare industry. Depending on your role, you may be tasked with administering the proper medication dosage or realizing a patient's condition is worsening based on specific signs and symptoms. The interviewer wants to hear how your colleagues describe your attention to detail, showing you are self-aware of how others perceive you. Give an example that demonstrates your attentiveness to your profession.

"I believe my coworkers would describe me as a perfectionist because I'm always so careful not to make errors. I double-check my work and repeat information as often as possible to verify it. For example, if I'm scheduling an appointment with a patient over the phone, I give them the date and time and repeat it back to them as I double-check what I've entered into the computer. Scheduling mistakes cause frustration to the patient and the other clinical staff members. I also ensure accuracy by focusing on my task at hand and reducing distractions or refraining from multitasking when working with critical information or reporting. This focus and dedicated attention to a task reduces errors. If it's a situation where I can run a report to audit or double check my work, I'll utilize that tool as well."

"I will determine which project requires my attention by the number of hours we are behind and then the project size. I am comfortable delegating tasks when needed, but I am also aware that these times will require an additional commitment of hours from me. Never have I underdelivered on a deadline."

Working in a fast-paced, complex environment often means juggling multiple projects and tasks, and priorities can shift and change suddenly. Think about how you decide what needs to be done urgently and what can wait or be delegated to someone else. When answering this question, demonstrate to the interviewer that you have a system that allows you to prioritize and carry out tasks efficiently. While I use techniques like this to stay organized, I also realize in healthcare that priorities can quickly shift, and I need to adapt and pivot to meet the need at that moment. I communicate with my manager and colleagues frequently to make sure I understand what is expected of me or needed of me urgently, and then I plan out the rest of my day around those critical tasks."

"I would rate my skills an 8. I first listen when others are talking and focus on the verbal message and body language to help me understand how they feel. When responding, I speak with clarity and concision to help the other person better receive and understand what I'm saying. When communicating, I maintain a respectful and friendly tone and am empathetic and compassionate in my conversations. I also ensure I'm using the right communication medium for the conversation. For example, if I have a concern or issue to discuss with my manager, I choose a face-to-face meeting versus sending a text or email so that the tone and message are not lost in the text. Lastly, I keep an open mind when it comes to receiving feedback, as this helps keep lines of communication open, and this approach allows for improvements to be made when necessary."

"I would rate my skills a 9 as I'm very experienced, but I acknowledge there is always room for improvement. The ability to actively listen is critical in my role. Often, I ask a lot of health history and lifestyle questions, and it's a balance between making eye contact and making sure there is that human interaction, all while documenting patient responses on my computer. I demonstrate active listening skills by periodically repeating information back for confirmation and by asking probing questions when I'm unclear or need more information on something they've said. I'm able to communicate effectively through verbal speaking and interactions. I can also pick up on non-verbal cues and body language to help me better understand how a patient feels. If they are tense or not making good eye contact, I know they may be nervous or reluctant. It's extremely important to possess strong communication skills when working with patients of all ages."

If you were not able to be in the healthcare profession, what other careers do you see yourself doing?

"I cannot imagine being unable to work in this profession because I enjoy it so much! If I had to draw on my other skills and passions, I would choose to work for a non-profit organization such as the local animal shelter. I am a big animal lover so that would be a lot of fun."

"There are so many healthcare issues that I am passionate about, but if I could choose one, I wish the general public were more aware of the signs and dangers of undiagnosed childhood diabetes. I have seen so many patients with diabetes who may have avoided this condition with better education and prevention methods."

"This is a very tough question as there are so many underfunded and worthy healthcare issues. I will go with one of my most extensive areas of interest and research. This year, over 53,000 people in the USA will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and nearly 80% will die from the disease - both men and women. I believe with better education and understanding of the disease; many lives could be saved before it is too late."

In your opinion, what has been the greatest advancement in healthcare this year? How do you stay up to date on new trends and breakthroughs in the healthcare industry?

"I follow a few medical journals such as the New England Journal of Medicine and The Lancet. I read a fascinating article a short time ago discussing the advancements in artificial retinae and other solutions for the blind. It's incredible to me how far these solutions have come."

Another great stress reliever is taking bubble baths with my favorite book and a cup of tea."

"Self-care on your time off is the greatest stress relief, and on my days off I love to work in my workshop with my dad's tools. This grounds me and brings me back to a calm and relaxed state."

Who has inspired you in your life and why?

"I find inspiration in a variety of people and things. I would have to say that the person who has most greatly inspired me has been my grandmother. She always had a smile on her face no matter how hard she worked and she loved everyone. She was well respected and always gave more than she received. I try to live like her as much as I can."

"I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Felician College in 2009. While attending University, I feel that my most challenging course was Statistics for Life Sciences. I completed this course with a B grade. My best course was in Mental Health Studies. I found it to be fascinating and graduated top of my class in that course."

Talk to the interviewer about your post-secondary education. Discuss your high points and the more challenging points. Do not be afraid to discuss challenging situations you faced at school; the interviewer will appreciate your honesty. Be sure to follow up with how you overcame those challenges. But, be sure not to cross the line of being over dramatic about a challenge you faced.

"I recently graduated with my degree in Clinical Medical Assisting. There were many challenges along the way; however, I would say that my overall experience was incredibly positive. If I had to choose my biggest struggle, I would say that Anatomy and Physiology were the most in-depth. With that said, I did receive very high grades in those courses. My favorite subject of study, overall, was Pharmacology."

What age groups of patients do you have experience working with?

"I've worked with all age groups, including pediatric and geriatric patients. Through that experience, I learned that pediatrics are a more vulnerable patient group because they can't always properly communicate how they feel, the side effects they are experiencing, or the severity of their pain. Often, pediatric patients are reluctant to take medications, cooperate for blood draws or radiology tests, vaccines or injections, etc., so they require more patience and persuasion sometimes than working with the geriatric population. The elderly typically experience a much different range of health issues and diseases than peds, requiring a totally different level of care and treatment."

If employed by Cleveland Clinic, you may be asked to work with a diverse age range of patients, from pediatrics and their families to older adults. Give the interviewer some insight into what age groups you've worked with in the past and in what setting (hospital, clinic, community, etc.). For example, my younger patients tend to learn best by consuming content online and through apps, but my older patients like one-on-one training, literature to read, or hands-on educational methods. I'm comfortable with and am open to working with all patients in my next role."

"Prioritize! I have often set alarms or alerts to help with time-sensitive tasks. If necessary, I have used resources available to me, such as my teammates."

What EHR systems do you have experience with?

"I have extensive experience with two EHRs: Epic and Oracle. I would describe my skills as expert-level. I have trained many new floor nurses on these systems. I'm a quick learner, so if the Cleveland Clinic uses a different system, I'm more than willing to learn and am confident I would catch on quickly."

Nearly all hospitals use an EHR system today, and the Cleveland Clinic has been reported to use Epic. Some of the most common include Oracle Cerner, MEDITECH, and PointClickCare. Discuss the systems you are familiar with, your length of experience using them, how comfortable you feel using EHRs, and your expertise in training others as a bonus. "In my nursing program, we were taught the basics of EHR systems, and I have watched some videos online of the most common systems and the fundamentals of how they are used. During clinicals, I did a rotation at a children's hospital where they used PointClickCare, so I have exposure to that system. I'm a quick learner and eager to dive in and learn, so I have no doubt I can master whatever system the Cleveland Clinic uses."

What healthcare settings have you worked in?

"As a recent high school graduate, I have not formally worked in healthcare. I have, however, volunteered at the local hospital on the pediatric unit. In this volunteer position, I would come in and read books to children or spend time with them coloring or doing activities if their parents needed to step away. I'm eager to start my career and gain experience in different healthcare settings."

This question allows the interviewer to explore your healthcare background and what environments you have worked in to understand if your background aligns or if you've worked in an environment where your skills would transfer well. Give an overview of the settings you've worked in (home health, hospital, nursing home, doctor's office, etc.) and include the range of patient populations you've worked with. "As a care specialist, I have four years of experience. The first two years after I graduated, I worked in a mental health clinic supporting the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care planning & risk assessments. Currently, and for the last two years, I have been working in palliative care. In this role, I provide safe, personal, and effective care and support patients and their families. I support the registered nurse and participate in assessments, care planning, and execution of treatment programs."

Tell me about your greatest work-related accomplishment.

"The greatest accomplishment in my career was graduating college as an honors student and single mom to a one-year-old. I also worked full-time at night while going to school during the day. This success showed me that I could dedicate myself to my career and reach the goals I set for myself and my daughter. Luckily, I had a great support system and could live with my family, who watched my daughter during that time. I was the first person in my family to graduate college, and it was gratifying walking at the graduation ceremony and receiving my degree."

Talking about your most significant work-related achievement will give the interviewer an idea of where you place your values. It will also show the interviewer more about your personality, what motivates you to succeed, and how to mentor you in the future. Show that you are proud of yourself and the career accomplishments you worked hard to achieve! You do not want to be humble when answering this question.

"I have many accomplishments that make me proud. Overall, I would say that my greatest work accomplishment is the positive reputation that I have in the healthcare industry. I worked hard to build my reputation, and it is nice to be acknowledged and recognized by my peers. Perhaps your computer crashes, and you realize you may have just lost all of your hard work. Or maybe you are limited on time and have a deadline rapidly approaching. "I have taught myself to become much calmer with my first reactions when problems arise. Now, I will step back and review my options for solving the problem rather than allow myself to become frustrated."

"When my manager went on unexpected medical leave for three months last year I was asked to step into her position in the interim. Once my manager returned, she was very pleased with the progress that I made, and I received a promotion."

Rather, I will search for the answer either in our manuals or online. I am comfortable taking on new tasks and enjoy learning new skills."

"When our CS was getting ready for her maternity leave, I was asked to temporarily take over some of her responsibilities. I had no idea what those responsibilities entailed until I asked her to train me to do so. Once she was able to instruct me in those tasks I had no issue completing those tasks.
