      "As a marketer, I learned a lot of skills that will be helpful in this new role.

      One of the most important skills is how to create and execute effective marketing campaigns. This skill will come in handy as a communications marketing specialist. I will need to develop and implement campaigns that will reach the students and promote the career center services & events.



      Another skill that has been useful is event planning and promotion. I have been able to use my organizational skills and attention to detail to help manage website content, write and post promotional material, and coordinate events.



      Finally, I have also learned how to supervise and collaborate with others to ensure that tasks are completed on time and within budget. This has been an essential skill in managing the team and ensuring that our goals are met.



      Overall, the skills I learned as a marketer have been invaluable in helping me transition into this new role."
