Procter and Gamble is a global corporation with brands and employees all over the world. What is your experience working with a diverse group of people?

      How to Answer

Are you accustomed to working with a very large or diverse team of individuals? Assure the interviewer that you are enthusiastic about and can handle an environment that offers diversity.

"The global nature of the Procter and Gamble business is one that I'm most excited about. I'm accustomed to being around people who aren't exactly like me, and I've been able to learn from exposure to a lot of different perspectives. However, I believe that truly being part of the global economy will be a life-changing experience that I will relish. I love that at P&G, the people who use your products every day are as diverse as our entire world. The more you team reflects them, the better you can understand their needs."

      Michelle's Answer

I love that your employees are encouraged to bring their unique selves to work every day, and bring out the best in each other."

"I love working with different persons, cultures, and environments. I studied a lot of Anthropology which studies the cultures and traveled a lot. I love to learn about diverse groups and try to immerse myself in new cultures. I actually did some volunteering in Guatemala and lived there for almost a year, where I learned Spanish and totally experienced a new culture. I also have friends from all around the world and would say that I am pretty open-minded."

      Marcie's Answer

Nice! You sound like you're very comfortable interacting with many different kinds of people, which is great. It's also wonderful that you volunteered and lived in a different country for some time. The question does ask specifically about working with a diverse group of people; if you have any work experiences that you could mention that show you have successfully worked with people who are culturally different than you, definitely discuss this as well.
