  • 3. There are times in a car dealership when the customer traffic is slower. Tell me about what you do to keep focused when you have down times.

      How to Answer

Not every moment of the day you have with Kia will be filled with customers demanding your attention. As in any business, there are ebbs and flows to customer traffic. The interviewer needs to know that you are the kind of individual who does not need to be constantly prodded to do work. This is a great opportunity to share with the manager your ability to complete tasks or find things to do during slower times. When answering this question, be sure to include specifics, like catching up on phone calls or working on training to improve your skills.

      2nd Answer Example

"I like to stay busy, and I know in sales that there is always something to do. Whether it is following up with customers or improving my knowledge of the models or even helping to keep the showroom organized and clean.
