"We're witnessing the world shift from a hybrid of in-person shopping to fully online. The job market is going remote. People are balancing the demands of their personal and work life in new ways. As a result, they're time-poor. They're looking for the most seamless and fast shopping experience. Things are changing fast, and our buyers are one step ahead. I think the flood of new experience technologies is pointing towards word-of-mouth marketing. Tapping into influencers and whatever social media platform captures our audience's attention is just the newest iteration of something that's has been around a long time. We already understand how it works. We need to adapt the old to the new. Like Steve Jobs said, you've got to start with the customer experience and work back toward the technology, not the other way around."
