"I was responsible for creating an analytics department to monitor our return on ad spending. What started as one position turned into a team. Our findings were too valuable to leave on the table. Instead of wasting an opportunity, I started coordinating our findings with our other marketing teams to make sure we were generating more traffic and leads. We slowly phased out the departments responsible for print ads. I then created a training program where that department could be re-absorbed into the newer departments we were developing. Not only were we investing in our employees, but we were also investing in our innovation."
