How do you go about monitoring the performance of your work and/or the work of team?

Be as thorough and detailed as you can in your approach. Highlight the methods and strategies you've implemented that are unique to you.

"I check in with my team daily. I start with a friendly, personal check-in. Then I ask what they're working on and how they're progressing. I offer praise and then offer suggestions when I feel they are needed. It's all about teamwork, meeting or exceeding our targets, and maintaining morale and innovation."

Steer away from hard-line approaches. Avoid examples of micro-managing as well. Be universal in your approach, especially since there is no way of knowing the management style you'll be expected to use until you're being onboarded.
