Tell us about a time you successfully hired, trained, and evaluated personnel.

Keeping in mind what your experience has to offer their business model, describe your process. In your example, explain why you were hiring, what position you were hiring for, who you chose to hire, and why they were a good fit. Then, describe the outcome.

"We needed to hire someone to manage our social media outreach. The interviewing process was exhaustive, but I believed I found the person for the job early on. Every response to one question answered my next question. The interview went quickly and evolved into a beautiful conversation surrounding the nature of the business. I, of course, hired that candidate. Their training went quickly. They picked everything up swiftly and turned out to be one of our top performers. Their accomplishments led to us hiring two more people who they developed and trained. That individual turned out to be a great asset."

The interviewer asked for one example. Aim for one example that includes many. The more you go above and beyond answering their questions, the better. If you have experience recruiting a team or multiple people at the same time, use that experience in your answer.
